If you don't use/need IPV6, you can disable conf on sysctl.conf file by putting a 1 instead 0 in net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 then reloading configuration or rebooting your host.
eg:
then reload configuration using
or by rebooting your host.

netplan does not disable ipv6 at the kernel level.
-
I've done the tip...
I can't test now since it only occurs when applying OMV update..... looks like it is related to salt changes ....
I'll let you know with nexty update....

Too bad. I've created https://github.com/openmediavault/openmediavault/issues/1357 for that.

there was an OMV update today.... no warning anymore, so it seems to be fixed for me! thank you!
-
-
Still the same warnings....this timeout makes the update process really longer

Does the suggestion from morganfw help? See RE: warning during updates.

unfortunately NO.
It's what I've said before,
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
does not fix the warnings during salt settings configuration...

Hi
Have you already tried omv-firstaid | Configure network interface, and only use ipv4.
a restart often works a miracle.
-
I've tested both...
last test was omv-firstaid and configure ipv4 & ipv6
last OMV update has the same warnings...
-
Hi
cd /etc/netplan/
cat 20-openmediavault......

I would assign a fixed IP!
That's my attitude:
If you don't have ipv6 please don't activate it
