Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code

unfortunately my OMV interface is largely unresponsive. The menu is visible but no content is loaded.

I get there "502 Bad Gateway" error messages.

With "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade" on the console this comes as error message:

sudo apt-get install -f

Access to Samba shares, Portainer, Docker Containers etc. still works.

I also tried

sudo apt-get install -f

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Does anyone have another idea?

I have been on OMV 6 for some time now. It is not an upgrade from 5 to 6.

The problem seems to be a defective system SSD.

The system reports that it can no longer write to the disk.

Fortunately I have a three weeks old DD full backup of OMV 6. My last Clonezilla image is 5 months old with OMV 5.6.

Somehow I can't find instructions on how to restore an OMV DD full backup to a new hard drive. Can someone help me please?

I was able to restore my system. The first attempt was to clone the broken SSD to another SSD with Clonezilla and then try it there. Unfortunately this did not work.

After that I decided to take the Clonezilla image with 5.6 and upgrade again. Took a while, but now the system works again.
