That is not logical. If the tunnel has been configured with the plugin defaults you should access any host on the network (make sure the iptables box is checked). The only reason could be that you have some restriction in your network, it could be in the router or in the server (firewall, iptables...).

Well, you should check your network and/or your server, there is no other explanation.

If you want to connect from the same network you can do that too. But for that you need a DNS server on your network that directs the endpoint established in the tunnel to the IP of your server. In this case your client would connect to the server through Wireguard on the same network and from there it would be redirected to the internet or wherever the tunnel redirects.

This is useful if you want to always have your smartphone connected to Wireguard, both inside and outside the local network. In this way, without having to activate or deactivate wireguard, the smartphone is always connected.
