I tried to create an ftp server with all default settings. My disk is Sandisk 32GB pendrive formatted in exFAT. I also added shared folder in ftp plugin settings. The Problem is its Read only. I only can access the file in ftp server. I can't write files to ftp server, shows Permission denied. I tried with the default user (admin) to access , tried by creating another user but still failed. My hardware is: Raspberry Pi 2 model b , OS : Raspberry Pi OS Legacy lite, using 4GB Sd card as booting the os. I'm new in this field. Iam grateful if someone is willing to help me. Some screenshots are below. (sorry for my bad english)

Use OMV-compatible file systems, preferably native Linux systems. Especially if it is to create services. https://docs.openmediavault.or…rage/filesystems.html#id1

The Raspberry 2B is too old a model for OMV. https://wiki.omv-extras.org/do…install#supported_devices

Okay, I will try changing the file system then. Yes, Raspberry Pi 2 is very old, and I'm experimenting to see if it can still be made usable. Thanks😊

It will work, but in a very uncomfortable way. Slow. Don't try to install docker or anything similar...

Yes, I only need to run SMB, FTP, and streaming purposes. I thought it's a good way to reuse this old one rather than letting it deteriorate. Hope works. Thanks again😁.

You can check my OMV in my signature.
I got the same - RO, upload goes to "Transfer failed" in Total Commander, which I use for ftp(s) for hundreds of servers for 20+ years.
Which particular setting controls The Thing there?
