Firewall rules: export/import?

  • Is there any shorter way than building every rule new in Gui?

Thank you for advices in advance!

Would be a "nice to have" in omv7.

Feel free to contribute. I don't see this being used by many and would be low priority. Most OMV users don't use the OMV firewall (I don't). Do you envision using this more than once?

On the question of frequency: I start from the scratch every time debian changes, like now with omv6 to omv7. And that for 4 devices. At this point in time... ;)

I suggest you upgrade from OMV6 to OMV7. That will keep the existing settings in the GUI. If after that you want a clean installation of OMV7 you can use omv-regen. This will restore all GUI settings to the new installation including the firewall.
