Installation de AdGuard avec compose OMV 6.9

    Bonjour, je souhaite installer AdGuard sur OMV,

    mon Nas tourne sur Linux 6.1.0-0.deb11.13-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.55-1~bpo11+1 (2023-10-08) x86_64 GNU/ Linux

    j'ai déjà installé OMV-extras et openmediavault-compose.

    j'ai aussi ouvert portainer sur le port 8000

    mais je sais pas comment installer adguard dans compose, j'ai essayé en ajoutant un exemple dans Services>Compose>Files mais quand je le UP j'ai une erreur :

    je début et je connais pas du tout docker et portainer


    solution :

    tout reprendre à zéro juste laisser docker, OMV-Extras et portainer

    puis suivre ce tuto

    Adguard is a special container because it uses port 53 and conflicts with OMV. One way to solve it is explained here. https://wiki.omv-extras.org/do…_the_same_lan_as_the_host

    For anyone reading this. That tutorial is old, I wouldn't trust a tutorial published in October 2023 but based on OMV5 (an obsolete version of OMV a long time ago). That is saying that they have updated the publication date fictitiously just to attract readers. You just have to look at the dates of the comments at the end of the tutorial, they are from 2021.

    Also, just out of curiosity I took a look and the macvlan network is not implemented correctly, a common error of that time in the configuration of the vlan IP range. Also the tutorial is using Portainer when for many reasons it is preferable to use the openmediavault-compose plugin without Portainer.

    From here everyone is free to proceed as they want with their server, but at least now you know what you are doing if you follow that tutorial.
