I just bought an Asustor AS5404T NAS and am evaluating that platform for a product offering. There are many things about it I like, but am disappointed in the ADM op sys. At least it's based on Linux! I have a python3 based GUI application that was written for a standard computer I would like to run on the NAS. I can run it under Asustor's ADM using VirtualBox but that doesn't perform well (no real surprise).
I haven't yet taken the time to build a platform specific package for the app, given what I've seen the performance and stability is like for Asustor native applications.
Does OMV support HDMI output? Has anyone used OMV on Celeron 5105 hardware?
I booted MX Linux 23 on the Asustor AS5404T but it doesn't see any of the SATA drives under that OS, but other hardware interfaces (video, USB etc) seem like typical PC.
Has anyone installed OMV on Asustor NAS?

If you mean using the video output in a virtual machine, the answer is yes. OMV works on Debian in a desktopless environment.

That shouldn't be a problem if you can access the Bios to install an operating system.

Not Celeron 5105 but Celeron J4025 (on a QNAP NAS). It was a straightforward Linux installation.
