OMV 7 KVM Homeassistant gets stuck on the efi shell when booting.

  • I followed the description of the KVM plugin for OMV7 from omvextras.

    After I created the volumes and set up the network, I downloaded the .qcow2 image from homeassistant and unpacked it into the .ISOS pool. Then created the VM (selected the ISO image as the optical disk) and started it using the icon with the power button.

    There is the problem. The qcow2 file is not an ISO. It is the actual OS install. You should set it up like this - RE: HomeAssistant on KVM plug-in - GUI instalation - not starting/running - why?
