Not possible to add bond network

  • As far as i Know Both nic have to be unconnected.
    You can also somit by Hand. In the interface file under /etc/network

  • Only by ssh connection over the terminal. Is your switch supporting bonding?
    Search in the forum for it there are several threads about how to do it.


    One thing I don't got working was the svg's for the traffic on the bond interface.
    Is anybody here how can instruct us how to change the graphics?

    First you have to create the bond0 interface with only one nic. Once you have access through the bond0 interface you can delete the old one nic and add it to bond0 editing the interface.


    Be aware on the modes you select, link aggregation needs mutual support, that means a proper switch on the other side.
