Dear all,
I just installed OMV 4.1.26 and attached one Segate HD and USB stick on a RP4 (4GB). I used the image offered via openmediavault.org - no changes / no additional applications installed. Everything works fine, except:
HD Spindown is not working.
From my point of view no device (PC / MAC) should access the HD (since they are off).
S.M.A.R.T is deactivated.

On the other side I realized with the same HD + DSL Modem (Fritzbox) a NAS and spin down was supported (only the data rate was significant lower)... So, the HD actually supports "spin down".... (or: the SW of my DSL Modem is more advanced in the NAS area - which is actually surprising since it was design for a differen purpose).
Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance!!
Best regards
Andreas
