Hello all, I am new to the forum and the Raspberry Pi. I downloaded the OMV 4 and OMV 5 images, tried burning to SD Card using both etcher and Win32 Diskimager but they won't boot n the Pi. I have a Pi 3 B, help. Where can I get a true OMV image thats not a ISO file. I've tried NextCload and it booted fine, but I'd rather use ONV to set up a NAS for my home network. help?.

Use this -> R-PI guide.

You're not trying to run an amd64 image on a rpi are you?

I had the same problem. For some reason there are no special RasPi images right now. Just try the instructions for OMV 5. It works perfectly.

And there won't be. Raspbian Buster Lite is very good and the install script makes it easy to get OMV installed correctly and up to date.

I would also think it would work with DietPI, but I haven't tried it.

I haven't tested it either. Not sure why DietPi should be used?

I like it as a lightweight Debian installation. I'm using the PC VM image for multiple server instances: DNS, VPN, Jellyfin, etc

Use this -> R-PI guide.
Thanks. . .

Hey!
But this guide is for version 5. 5 is beta. How can i install version 4?Only v5?:
wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…Script/raw/master/install | sudo bash -
Start with Debian 9 (stretch) and use the script. It will install OMV4 then.
I would use Debian 10 with OMV5 though.

Thanks for all the responces, I'm not sure how to reply to the individual responces as yet.
(2) Thanks for the guide info, I've downloaded it and will try it tonight.
(3) Yes, I was trying the AMD64 ISO image.
(4) Thanks for the advise.
(5) Sorry if I had posted this in the wrong section.
The basic use will be to host files, photos, music and videos for access from within the network and to backup networked computers to.
Network systems are 2 PC's (Win 10 and Win 7) 2 Laptops running Win 10.
