No Devices listes during creation of a shared folder

    Hello,


    I have a problem: when I try to share a folder of my RAID or any other drive OMV doesn't show me any device in the dialog box. The drives and the RAID are properly listed under file systems and are online. How can I fix it?


    At blkid the drives and raid are listed as well.


    Maybe its a problem, because another raid brokes down and couldn't restored. So its filesystem is still listed in OMV but I cannot remove it. Clicking the delete button do not result in any action.


    Pls let me know if more information is needed!

    You can only use filesystems for shared folders that are mounted in the GUI of OMV. If you mounted them from CLI, they are not known by OMV and cannot be used for shared folders.


    Regarding the old filesystem. Is it marked as referenced? If yes, remove all shared folders which are pointing to that filesystem. Before that you need to remove those shared folders from all services.
