Portainer vs Yacht

  • I'm relatively new to Docker and containers and I just installed it on my OMV 6 instance. I was wondering what is the differences between Portainer and Yacht? What's the advantages or disadvantages of using one over the other? Thanks for the help!

Portainer is the container manager most used by users on this forum. I’m not familiar with Yacht. Maybe someone who has used Yacht will chime in, but Portainer does everything I need when managing docker containers.

Try them both. You can use either at the same time. Yacht is meant to be simpler but still be able to do what you need.
