Is there some way to create an image of the Raspberry Pi SD card and store it on any connected drive without powering down the Pi and removing the card? The backup SD card could then be made offline without taking the system down. I couldn't find anything in the guides or the forum about this but it would seem to be a very useful function. If this feature isn't currently available may I request that it be added in a future update? Perhaps it could be included in omv-first-aid?

RE: [Backup Plugin] create a single img backup image for use with win32 disk imager / etcher, etc.
I added full disk dd option to the plugin. 5.2 in the repos now. I didn't test but usbimager or etcher should be able to write this image without decompressing it.
