  • Hello everybody,

first of all, i have to precise: i am french, not fluent in english but i try to do my best...

so, i thanks for you help.

I have been using OMV 5.x for some years.

I tried to upgrade but no result.

I made a fresh install of 6.1.4-2 (Shaitan) ==> OK

My system is fonctionnal but I can't access my files.

    root@monnas:~# cat /proc/mdstat Personalities : [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid1] [raid10]

    md127 : active (auto-read-only) raid5 sda[2] sdd[1] sdb[0]

    5860268032 blocks super 1.2 level 5, 512k chunk, algorithm 2 [3/3] [UUU]

    bitmap: 0/22 pages [0KB], 65536KB chunk

    unused devices: <none> root@monnas:~#

    I did a fsck:

    root@monnas:~# umount /dev/md127

    umount: /dev/md127: not mounted.

    root@monnas:~# fsck /dev/md127

    fsck from util-linux 2.36.1

    e2fsck 1.46.5 (30-Dec-2021)

Stockage: clean, 33926/183136256 files, 546561250/1465067008 blocks

    root@monnas:~# mount -a

Now, my filesystem is ok and active:

    root@monnas:~# cat /proc/mdstat

    Personalities : [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid1] [raid10]

I can't get my share folders in the GUI.

In "Stockage" i see my system disk and my 3 raid disks:

in "RAID" I can see my Raid5:

When i try to "Récupérer" it is impossible to write in "Périphériques"

  • have made some progress.

In "Stockage" my filesystem md127 was not mounted...

Now, the problem is to access my sharefolders from the network.

Sure, it's a access right problem.

  • Hey, thanks for your answer.

Yes i did all these things not nothing is recorded to the system.

For example, when i set parameters for the dashboard, logged in as admin, they are nor saved.

Each loggin to the gui needs to re-selected the options.

As said before, i have rlloed back to OMV 5 and every thing is OK.

For the moment i let my system on this version, i'll see later for upgrade.

Settings of the dashboard are stored on the client as cookies. If the cookies are deleted, the settings are gone. Same behavior for OMV5 and OMV6.

Here are the steps for an upgrade:
