Looks like your openmediavault package itself had an issue updating. I would try: sudo apt-get -f install

    omv 7.1.0-2 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.2 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.5 | scripts 7.0.7

omv-extras.org plugins source code and issue tracker - github - changelogs

  • Thanks. I tried. But leads to same result

I would remove (not purge, this keeps the database) the mergerfs plugin temporarily.

    sudo dpkg -r openmediavault-mergerfs

    then try to fix

    sudo apt-get -f install

Sorry about jumping in on this threat but I have a suspicion of the https://openmediavault-plugin-developers.github.io/ is down.

Not really related but it is working just fine for me. The repo is on github and github isn't down. I'm guessing you tried hitting the page while I was uploading the new kernel plugin.

Must be a really, really slow upload :) I get the same error as in Post #7

The one file was missing since I didn't add it to my git commit. It is uploaded now. The repo wasn't down and I didn't see the issue since I already had the updated plugin installed.

  • I would remove (not purge, this keeps the database) the mergerfs plugin temporarily.

    sudo dpkg -r openmediavault-mergerfs

    then try to fix

    sudo apt-get -f install

I removed it then tried to fix it. Still the same. Rebooting.

    Tried again dpkg -r openmediavault-mergerfs

    Code
dpkg: warning: ignoring request to remove openmediavault-mergerfs, only the config
files of which are on the system; use --purge to remove them too

    then this again

    Code
    apt-get -f install
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree... Done
    Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
      libarchive-zip-perl mergerfs
Use 'apt autoremove' to remove them.

    and apt autoremove

    Still the same

Same what? Your output looks good. I would just install the mergerfs plugin again.

  • Ok. I thought it still says something about errors referring to the last lines about dkpg error processing package.

I don't really understand the logs but I see when it says something about errors. Anyway not a big issue. Just trying to understand.

    Thanks for your help.
