During installation the Grub fails to load at "host name" screen . . . Just a blue screen nothing else.

That hardware is very recent. If you are trying to install with the OMV ISO you may have problems. In that case you can do a clean installation of debian 11 netinstall 64-bit and then install OMV using the installation script.
AZ Where?
The issue maybe my modem . . . The automatic network configuration is trying to setup "IPv6" . . . My modem does not have "IPv6" capability (docsis 3.0)
fbeye . . . I really like you ID . . . I am in Phoenix
Alder Lake could also cause problems with the network interface. I would follow the path I suggested.
When you have installed it you will also have problems if you want to use the hardware acceleration of the iGPU. Installing the proxmox 6.2 kernel solves it.

Nice, Tucson here... And TY
Debian has been installed "barebones" . . . I have root access on the grub.
entering the script, all goes well until "apt-get install openmediavault-keyring postfix" . . . error "unable to locate"
In that case I think you have an internet connection problem. I would say there is probably some problem on your network that you need to resolve before trying to install debian. Are you doing it with cable?
Debian is installed . . . Ethernet connection was used, no problems on the install, just did not install any software . . . Debian starts in the terminal, this is where I ran the scrips under root privilege . . . Is the scrip that I found current?
Hey fbeye . . . Wildcat Class of '73 . . . Move to Phoenix in '96
If you followed the link I gave you you will have arrived at this, that script is current.
wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/installScript/raw/master/install | sudo bash
Others have installed OMV on an N100 this year using this method, so I think something strange is happening on your network.
Hey chente . . . First I really appreciate your assistance . . . My installation of Debian, the grub opens in terminal . . . I tried to run the script from the "root" . . . The connection to github (203.242.255.30) could not be resolved, timed out 3 times and I shut the machine down. I did note that this script was from a 32bit installation of Open Media Vault, my complete installation was from the Debian GUI, I just did not install any software, however, Debian 12.2.0 is running but the only access is through terminal.
Thanks again
I had written a text with many lines to explain your problem, but I just found out that it is much simpler.
Debian 12.2.0 is running but the only access is through terminal.
In the second post I said that you must install Debian 11. OMV6 depends on debian 11. OMV7 will depend on Debian 12 when it is available.
You must install Debian 11, OMV6 does not work on Debian 12.
Just do a 64-bit debian 11 netinstall installation. Make sure you don't install any desktop environment or other tools or packages, just debian.
Then run the script.
Hi Ho Chente . . . Open Media Vault is now up and running . . . Performed and update and now is off to setting things up.
Thank you for all your help and patience!
Robert
