I successfully made my first NAS (hurray!), and everything works great with the 2 internal drives. To expand my capacity and reduce e-waste, I'm trying to add a 2TB Samsung external SSD drive to the system. It currently has files on it and is generically setup as the drive came. I can't seem to get OMV to recognize the drive in order to format and mount it. It's hooked with USB3.0 to USB-C, and gets power based on the light. Drive works fine on my PC. System is a NUC5i7RYH running OMV 7. Thanks for any advice!

Do you see it in Storage >> Disks?
If yes, wipe it there and then create a filesystem on it. All data will be lost.

No, it doesn't show up in storage at all. I know what to do with it from that point on if I can get it to display.

Does it show up in lsblk and blkid in CLI?

I'm not sure why, but it seems to have been an issue with the USB cable I was using. Swapped for another and now it shows up. Thanks!
