compose plugin - backup all with exclusions

To do what you want you can configure two scheduled tasks.

The first task would backup all containers except homeassistant on a weekly basis. To do this, set the filter designating containers that are not homeassistant. Separate names with commas.

The second task would backup homeassistant on a daily basis. To do this, configure the filter designating only the homeassistant container.

The simple solution I can think of to do this without needing to keep the container list up to date would be to create the weekly backup task with the filter including all containers, even homeassistant. That day the homeassistant backup would be done twice, which should not be a problem since it is done with rsync.

To refine things further, I think ryecoaaron would have to add some more options to the filtered list, such as a list of exclusions. I can not think of anything else.

Yes, that would also work. You could configure a backup of all containers on Sunday and another backup of homeassistant every day of the week except Sunday.

Since you can have multiple filters on one job (comma separated) and/or use multiple jobs, I don't see why exclusions are needed. I would just backup the homeassistant container twice on the weekly and daily. It is using rsync and wouldn't take much time anyway.
