Snapraid sync not running as scheduled task

  • 7.5.0-1 (

    I'm trying to complete the setup of my NAS using OMV 7.5.0-1. I've installed SnapRAID using the plugin installer, and configured it through the GUI to use two data drives and one parity drive all three are Seagate enterprise 4T drives, the drive info is as follows:

    Data 1 (D1)

    • /dev/disk/by-diskseq/2
    • /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-35000c50089443097
    • /dev/disk/by-id/wwn-0x5000c50089443097
    • /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:40:00.0-scsi-0:0:13:0

    Data 2 (D2)

    • /dev/disk/by-diskseq/3
    • /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-35000c50062e2fdf7
    • /dev/disk/by-id/wwn-0x5000c50062e2fdf7
    • /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:40:00.0-scsi-0:0:14:0

    Parity (P1)

    • /dev/disk/by-diskseq/4
    • /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-35000c50062e2f073
    • /dev/disk/by-id/wwn-0x5000c50062e2f073
    • /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:40:00.0-scsi-0:0:15:0

    When I try to run the scheduled task 'snapraid sync' from the systems tab I get the following error

    500 – Internal Server Error

    Failed to execute command ‘export

    Path=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin;

    Export LC_ALL=C.UTF-8; export LANGUAGE=; export

    Shell=/bin/sh; sudo –shell –non-interactive –user=’root’ –

    45d6-a90c-10074e5d516e 2>&1’ with exit code ‘1’: Selftest… No

    Configuration fie found at ‘/ect/snapraid.conf’

    but if I go to the snapraid tab under services, select Array and then use the tools dropdown to run sync it works fine. What am I doing wrong?

  • Go into Services | SnapRAID | Settings and then select the Default array from the drop down list. Then Save settings.

  • that not an option in the latest version of snapraid

    there is Services | SnapRAID | Arrays but there is no default array in the drop down list I added an array called Array1 and used it to configure the drives in snapraid

    You aren't looking where I said to. It's Services | SnapRAID | Settings.

    Right under the "No hidden" checkbox. The hint from No hidden and the title of Default array are the same size. Plugin can't change that.

  • sorry if I a bit dense I can't see anywhere to select the default array from a dropdown here

    Doesn't look like you are posting the entire screen.

    Look on the very far right of the last line in my picture. There is a drop down arrow there.
