  • Code

  • Almost! :-)
I needed to do "apt-get install vdr-dev", too. After that, make and install worked.

Now I have a little Problem with this:

    Code
    echo "192.168.0.0/24" > /var/lib/vdr/plugins/vnsiserver/allowed_hosts.conf
    echo "127.0.0.1" >> /var/lib/vdr/plugins/vnsiserver/allowed_hosts.conf

There is no directory vnsiserver. I just have vnsi-server and vnsiserver4. Is vnsi-server correct?

  • you might have to create the directory by yourself.

You can just use WinSCP and then create the directory vnsiserver in /var/lib/vdr/plugins/

    Software:
    OMV 3.0 / Plex / Snapraid / Tvheadend / ecoDMS / sonar / sabnzbd
    Hardware:
    ASRock C2750D4I / 2x Kingston KVR16E11/8 / Dell PERC H200 Crossflashed / 8x WD Red 3 TB / 60GB TeamGroup Dark L3 SSD / Samsung 750 EVO 256 GB SSD / Sundtek Sky TV Ultimate 6 DVB-S2

  • Yes, you're right.
And I did set the allowed hosts to 192.168.0.0/24, but used the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. Stupid.. :-)

    It's working now! Thanks.

  • Has anyone of you guys seen these errors ins e-tobi vdr-plugin for omg?

  • Hi Ollie,

have you taken your channellist from channelpedia ?

    Software:
    OMV 3.0 / Plex / Snapraid / Tvheadend / ecoDMS / sonar / sabnzbd
    Hardware:
    ASRock C2750D4I / 2x Kingston KVR16E11/8 / Dell PERC H200 Crossflashed / 8x WD Red 3 TB / 60GB TeamGroup Dark L3 SSD / Samsung 750 EVO 256 GB SSD / Sundtek Sky TV Ultimate 6 DVB-S2

  • Hmm.. could be a problem with your channellist.

Maybe it's including some parameters not necessary for the normal VDR distribution, but for the Reelbox.

I would recommend making a copy of your channellist and take one from channelpedia just for testing

    Software:
    OMV 3.0 / Plex / Snapraid / Tvheadend / ecoDMS / sonar / sabnzbd
    Hardware:
    ASRock C2750D4I / 2x Kingston KVR16E11/8 / Dell PERC H200 Crossflashed / 8x WD Red 3 TB / 60GB TeamGroup Dark L3 SSD / Samsung 750 EVO 256 GB SSD / Sundtek Sky TV Ultimate 6 DVB-S2

  • vdr: vnsi server 5

  • I'd suggest a test on a VM. ;)

  • By ah my VM just is not working very good as I can't connect to it from my host.

But I changed the sources list manually and glibc has to have a higher version - I read this can be done via Jessy files somehow but for now it is too risky to do it on my production machine. Really a shame that debia is so outdated in vdr packages

  • Haha, glad you don't blame it on OMV.

For the VM part, in the anouncements you can download a prepared VM for testing.

  • Did you checked that networking is bridged?

    Network setup:

    1: NAT
    2: host only with DHCp
Bridging is not available "invalid settings"

When I only have one NIC: host only I can reack OMV via Web Interface, but the OMV can't go online - and vice versa!

    is really killing me!

  • @ryecoaaron might be able to help.
