Plugins that are wanted - Part 5

  • The sourceforge page says right in the description that the project is dead and hasn't been updated in over two years.

Ok ok I wont bore u more with that guys ;)

Xen is great, but take a look at this (sorry maybe out of topic..) oVirt. :O !

  • I'd like a plugin for crashplan (found it in the qnap app store, would be nice to have it for omv as well).
I've seen that it's possible to install the debian version and manage it through another client, but that's less user friendly imho.

crashplan has been mentioned before. Just low on devs to create it.

  • Hello,

Psensor has an integrated webserver that shows all the temperatures, voltages, fan speeds of lm-sensors on a webpage. Maybe the Extplorer plugin could be adapted to show the psensor-server html page inside openmediavault?

    http://wpitchoune.net/blog/psensor/remote-monitoring/

Additional info: I am compiling a newer version of psensors because the one shipped with Debian Wheezy is quite old and shows nothing on my systems (even though sensors shows all of them on the terminal).

  • A Wallabag plugin would be nice:

    Quote

wallabag is a self hostable application for saving web pages. Unlike other services, wallabag is free (as in freedom) and open source.
With this application you will not miss content anymore. Click, save, read it when you want. It saves the content you select so that you can read it when you have time.

  • There are wallabag dockers available.

  • If there is a docker for cozycloud, what is the advantage of having a plugin?

  • Hello,

as plugin i miss an small CardDAV CalDAV server like radicale, baikal or sabredav.

Today everybody has more than one devices (PC, Notebook and Smartphone) and a lot of them want to sync them. So it's very useful.

There is a webdav plugin that uses sabredav. It only uses the webdav functionality at the moment though. You can probably find a docker to provide radicale or baikal.

  • I mentioned it because somebody asked for a better (?) alternative to Owncloud. I thought maybe somebody would be interested in that solution.

I definitely agree that owncloud needs an alternative. I was just curious if you thought it needed a plugin or if a docker would be just as good.

  • I hope it is the right section, I'd like to see in the multimedia plugin Kodi

If you mean full Kodi, OMV doesn't have a GUI and is really meant to be headless. If you just want the server part, there is a docker for kodi/xbmc on this forum.
