Yes I ended up running apt-clean and the update showed up. It updated and working perfectly.
Thanks once again for helping me out.

Good to hear
Thanks for the info, and the work on the Calibre plugin.
I now have the updated plugin and all appears to be working.
Now all I need is the spare time to update my OMV to .05
Michael

It seems the plugin had no longer support 3.x and no updates in the future. But you can still use calibre server on 3.x without the plugin.
"But you can still use calibre server on 3.x without the plugin."
How am I doing this? Sorry i am quite new on OMV
install docker plugin and the a calibre docker:
https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-calibre-web
https://hub.docker.com/r/aptalca/docker-rdp-calibre/
Please read first about docker: Could someone help me understand what docker is?
and / or:
Thank you Raulfg3,
I got the installation of the docker via Plugins inside of OMV.
Also I installed calibre as the docker image.
The question here for me is, when I want to run the docker a new window appears (Screenshot 2, 3 and 4). How do I need to configure that?
Regarding your second link I don't understand exactly how do I need to replace the XXX and YYY. That's my output:
~# docker run -d --name="RDP-Calibre" -e EDGE="0" -e WIDTH="1280" -e HEIGHT="720" -v /path/to/config:/config:rw -e TZ=America/New_York -p XXXX:8080 -p YYYY:8081 aptalca/docker-rdp-calibre
docker: Invalid hostPort: XXXX. See 'docker run --help'.
Sorry for asking .. it´s quite new for me as a Mac/Windows user....
Although I didn't specifically cover calibre, you might be able to figure out the configuration from my Docker guide here. I do now use Calibre server and some other containers, so I will likely update the guide eventually, but that could be some time away.
I switched to e-books a long time ago and don’t regret it!
Alles anzeigenHi All,
I've just started a collection of ebooks and use an ipad mini as a reader, to be able to access the books via wireless I have been running Calibre which does have a Web Server mode, on my Mint 14 desktop.
It works pretty well, but I have been trying to get it to work on my OMV, I run 4.38 but have a test OMV 5 virtual that I have been running to see what happens with different software.
It works but, I can only add books using the full GUI on the Mint desktop, then I have to transfer the library folder to the share drive connected to the virtual OMV then run the server daemon from command line.
I was wondering if any one had tried it or something similar for an ebook library. Most likely you need to add books through the GUI on Mint, then move them to OMV. Afterwards, launch the Caliber server from the command line. I remember how I needed to quickly do my homework from uni and I couldn’t figure it out with the server for a long time. I had to find critical analysis on the Internet, I used https://papersowl.com/blog/write-critical-analysis-essay to make things go faster. Only later did I understand what I was doing wrong. This is a fairly common practice and many people do something similar. I don't understand why they made everything so difficult.
Michael
It took me a long time to set up the web server. I don’t even remember at what attempt I succeeded and how.
