Did anyone change the port calibre uses to port 80? I'm not having any issues with calibre in a vm.
** edit - even setting to port 80 doesn't kill the web interface.
Just finished installing owncloud 8 via this guide ownCloud 7 install with current plugin. I can log in, but are getting a blank white screen. Any thoughts?
I can login into a user account but not the as the admin.
I there!
I reconfigured my network which included a new static IP for my OMV NAS. When I tried to access owncloud (v6) with the web interface it told me something like no authentification possible (can't remeber exactly :/).. So I did some googeling and found that I need to create a new certificate including the servers' actual IP as common name. After that I did a restart of the NAS via the OMV web interface.
The NAS started but since then I neither have access to the OMV nor to the owncloud web interface ;(. SSH, Samba shares and Plex are working! Any suggestions how to fix this?
BIG thanks in advance!

Update: I think it is a problem with nginx!
service nginx start
results in
Starting nginx: nginx: [emerg] SSL_CTX_use_certificate_chain_file("/etc/ssl/certs/openmediavault-c97a2a17-34b2-4e13-baac-57521862eac0.crt") failed (SSL: error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or direc tory error:20074002:BIO routines:FILE_CTRL:system lib error:140DC002:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate _chain_file:system lib)nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
So my new certificate crushed the ngnix server?!
I'm running the latest OMV 2
Update2: Solved the problem
omv-mkconf nginx
Help very much apprechiated!

Erm, considering beeing late to the party here, are you still having the issue? If so use omv-firstaid to reconfigure your WebGUI.

deleted to form new thread
I know, this thread is already pretty long but, there is one issue not covered.
My shared folders and my ssh are ok, like the thread title says, but my guy is not there. If I open the gui with chrome it says error connection refused(same in incognito and edge), like the first person here had. But I didn't turned on the firewall.
Could somebody please help me? Im not a total noob (its my 3.ovm server) but I'm at the moment totally clueless.
also: netstat command not found
Have you tried omv-firstaid from CLI?
