does the docker plugin work with the omv-extras backport kernel in omv 3?
I have installt it and the plugin does't work. When i use the 3.16 kernel then work. -

I though you were using storage driver aufs which was removed from kernel 4.x and now is shipped as dkms. I see you're using the devicemapper. I'll try to reproduce this in a vm and let you know .

This has nothing to do with union plugin or anything like that. Is the storage backend (graph) that docker-engine uses to merge several layers for the images and containers. As i see now in the logs you posted this is it about the aufs driver. I suggest you to go to docker irc channel in freenode to ask how to handle this. I personally use btrfs, so i've never dealt with aufs issues using docker. Or if anyone else had this issue might come and help you.
The other solution would be for you to keep using kernel 3.16.Debian is not even shipping an aufs-dkms package now for jessie backports
