I still face trouble with the nginx plugin, I get always the error message. Really strange. What could be wrong here?

I like to delete the entry and I get an error. What can I do with that nginx plugin. Why is it failing like it does?
-
I get this warning now in my mail box

I guess that something is wrong with nginx why should it already give a error when try to apply the settings.
-

Maybe your Nginx is corrupted.
If Seafile is the only web server you have, then uninstall Nginx, and re-install.Don't you want to try out NextCloud?

Here are the ngnix config values:
-
I do have installed openmediavault-nginx2.4, but I have seen there is also openmediavault.websites 1.2. Should I install both?
-
openmediavault-websites is a meta package for openmediavault-nginx meaning they are the same thing.

Yes Sir I tried several times but it doesn't fix my problem. I can only say that the nginx plugin doesn't work what else should be the reason?
-
Well I'm not a Nginx expert and this is where I would usually think to myself "I'm going to be up all night again trying to figure out what's wrong" and I end up just rebuilding cause its quicker...lol
Not sure if an apt clean would help, I've been told a few times over the years to do that when I've had problems. I thought it was just to clean out old packages but I've seen errors resolved before from doing it.
Maybe google around a bit or check out some of the nginx configs and make sure they're all good.
Hopefully an expert Nginx user will chime in and get you going.
I'm not much help hey...lol

Yeah that is the biggest bottle neck so far I tried to run apt-clean which didn't solve the problem
-
I still not yet found any solution for it, but the strange thing is even I only like to activate the plugin without any server it shows me error when I try to apply. I'm really thankful for any hint. Is there any log where I can see what problem I might have?
From command line as root:
wget omv-extras.org/openmediavault-omvextrasorg_latest_all.deb
dpkg -i openmediavault-omvextrasorg_latest_all.deb
apt-get updatethen
I did this:
apt-get purge openmediavault-nginxand
apt-get install openmediavault-nginxStill I do have the same error!

Finally I managed to get nginx running. It really works and I'm happy that I could get it running.
Many thanks to @Zoki and @baldman without you guys I could never get it running. After I used another Browser Firefox I could see that something wen't wrong with the ssl certificate. I deleted the old one and made a new. I assigned that into nginx and now I'm done. It works and I can move my data away from Google.
So the old man reached the goal -- never give up :-).
Wish you all a nice week end.

Awesome man. I'm glad you got it working. What browser were you using before?
-
I used Chrome and then I tried it in Firefox, that brought me on the right way.

Great☺

-
You need to open the port that you used in your nginx server settings. The tutorial says port 8444.
