I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to backup a disk image through the GUI.
Easy way to back up disk image?

- openletter

I am using this for storing OS installs. It is not clear to me that rsync is the right tool for this.

dd on the command line isn’t that hard. Are you making backups on a Windoze or a Mac? Why does it need to be GUI?

A NAS on the command line isn't that hard.
I just don't want to deal with ssh into the box every time. easier to just click and go, plus without worrying I'm disk destroying something.

What are you backing up? A thumbdrive or SD-card, or is it a hard drive or SSD

Are you talking about the OS drive where OMV is installed?
In that case there is a backup plugin.

No. I pull a drive out of a different computer, plug it into an eSATA dock. From there, it wold be nice to even have something similar to USB Backup to automagically save the image, or however it would work.
