I own a QNAP and can't install OVM RE: Is it possible to install on a disk with 500MB space? Errors (see screenshots) 
Also new QNAP devices have only 512 MB flash drive (https://www.qnap.com/en/product/ts-251/specs/hardware) and some strange processor (https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffcm&q=Alpine+AL-314&ia=web)
I wish to sell my QNAP on eBuy and buy a new device.
What you recommend me?
The only thing manual I wish to do is inserting 2x disks from old NAS.

Not sure how you are having such trouble...people have used omv on the qnaps for a while.
Personally, I think it is much smarter to build, but to each their own.

I would not recommend installing OMV on a qnap that is not using an Intel x86 cpu.

I think a lot depends on where you are in the ordering queue. The last email I got from them a few days ago said some units were failing some final qc checks, but that they had narrowed down the problem.
If the Helios had a x86 cpu, I'd have ordered one.

True, they are shipping in order that they were received. I don't know how long it will take them to get through the queue. And the units aren't really failing the quality checks. The software they are using was being to aggressive and issuing false positives.

Need is a real stretch. "Prefer" would be a better word. Most of the Dockers I use have ARM versions I'm pretty sure.. so it would probably be an easy transition.

2 bays.. I'd find a cheap 2 bay and put a 4gb pi4 in it
