  • Strabegly when I look into the Nextcloud config.php there is no reference to the MariaDB port 3306:

  • try to change the

    • localhost host --> "nextclouddb"

    to ip address where you are running the docker containers and choose from the menu MySQL/MariaDB

  • i have this in my config:

    try it with port number

    • localhost host --> "IP_ADDRESS:3306"

    omv 5.6 in proxmox 6.3-6 - AMD Ryzen 1700 - 16GB DDR4 :thumbup:

  • i tried with IP:port -> connection refused

    When I edit the config.php it gets overwritten with blanks. I think this file gets created during the Nextcloud initiation.

  • don't change it directly in the config file but using the webpage, Those steps are need to be done using the initial nextcloud screen.

  • try to uncomment this in mariaDB custom.cnf file

    and restart the db container and then try again the ip:port in the webgui
