Hello all,
I updated my OMV5 and it seemed it broke docker. No containers are starting on reboot and clicking docker in extras causes communication error. Any help would be great thanks.
Docker seems corrupted after update

Try: from omv-extras GUI delete docker then reinstall it.
-
Thanks for the reply
I get a hang it says run a command when I do it hangs on setting up docker-ce and does not install
-
it says run a command
What exactly does it say?
Have you been able to remove docker first?
-
I have not been able to successfully remove it yet no. When i select it in OMV-Extras I see communication failure. When I update via the GUI I get an error run "dpkg --configure -a". I run this command and it hangs on setting up docker-ce and never completes.
Thanks -
What is the output of
dpkg -l | grep docker

docker-ce is only half-configured
try
apt install -f
-
I get this output
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
when I run that command above it hangs at setting up docker-ce and doesn't complete.
-
I would try to remove the package from CLI and then reinstall from omv-extras
apt remove docker-ce
Does it complete without issue?
-
no unfortunately it says the same thing that I need to run dpkg --configure -a
-
Does it say anything else?
-
no it just says that line and kicks me back to the console
-
How about
apt-get --purge remove docker-ce
-
same line must run dpkg --configure -a
-
Are you running those commands as root?
-
Yes through ssh as root login
-
Please run
dpkg --configure -a
again and post the complete output including command and prompt at the end here using the code box </>.

Any advice?
