First, I precise I'm new to OMV or Raspberry, so my questions are probably very basic.
As I use SONOS music system, I need a NAS with SMBv1 enabled.
So I bougth a RaspberryPI 3, installed OMV5 on it, and tried to enable SMBv1 by adding the following lines in the 'extra options' of the file \etc\samba\smb.conf :
ntlm auth = yes
server min protocol=NT1
To do so I used the nano editor (cmd : sudo nano filename) and the ^O option to save the modified file.
But SONOS still can't see my shared folder, and I realized that after a reboot, the \etc\samba\smb.conf file comes back to its original state (without my modifications).
So my questions are the following :
is it the right way to enable SMBv1 on OMV5?
If so, how to do it effectively? And how can I check that SMBv1 is actually activated?
thanks
