I'm getting "UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY" errors on boot with several sd cards. Usually the errors can be fixed by fsck.
I have been running OMV4 for ~2 years, then I decided to go for OMV5 and used the same sd card with armbian buster, installed OMV5 and after some days I found the NAS offline hanging on boot with "UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY" error. I fixed the errors but the days after the inconsistency errors came back. I thought the sd card is not good anymore, took a fresh sd card, reinstalled Armbian and OMV and after some days the inconsistency errors came back. I thought it was a bad sd card and took another fresh sd card, did the installation again and now after 3, 4 days of operation the inconsistency error is coming back again.
I doubt that I took 3 "bad" sd cards in a row so I suspect some other reason for the error. Does anyone have a hint what I should be looking at to resolve the issue?
My setup is:
- BananaPi M2 Berry
- 16 GB SDcard (Intenso Class 10) -> root file system
- Armbian Buster (Armbian_21.08.1_Bananapim2ultra_buster_current_5.10.60 from https://armbian.hosthatch.com/…/bananapim2ultra/archive/
- SSD 1TB, BTRFS partition -> data storage
- "official" RaspberryPi Power supplyany
Every hint is appreciated.
