MiniDLNA transcoding ??

Unfortunatly, minidlna does not transcode your files.
If your really need transcode, I would recommand you Serviio (works great) which run on a Java VM.

I have Serviio running on a WHS v1 (Windows Home Server) server at home, and it does a great job. No problem at all to watch MKV on my PS3.

Well then this guy should forget minidlna and just go with plex.

I only checked TV Series, so i don't know if DTS maybe needs some more power to transcode.

You also may want to look at Plex Media Server. See this post viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1203.

Works well and if you have a Roku it is supported there as well!
