sFTP plugin with root access

  • I have openmediavault 7 installed on raspberry pi 4 64 bit os.

I installed sFTP plugin, added user, added shared folder and shares in sFTP plugin settings.

When I try to log in through any sFTP client, I get to the root of the system, but not to the shared folder for my user.

If I disable SSH service - sFTP access is disabled completely.

How can I configure sFTP so that the user gets access only to the folder that was given to him in the permissions?

The user was created solely to work with sFTP, there are no other services on it.

Are the users in the sftp-access group as the Settings tab mentioned is required for chroot?
