The new dashboard widget to display the temperatures of all physical disks shows black color as background in Dark mode.

In other widgets I see the green color as background.

Green or red indicates a status like active or stopped. The temperature widgets don’t so they are just black / dark grey.

Black is a punch in the face. You can use the colors as File System widget. The widget of disk temperature is too different from the others.

I see no need to change anything. The colors are used by the Angular framework in other cases as well.

I think if the widget used a color other than black, it would seem to be categorizing that temperature. Since different drives have different operating ranges and people have different opinions on optimal drive temperatures, black is the only choice.

The black is not the only choice (you can use dark gray), but I accepted your response. I almost got used to that color after two days

I didn't like the big black rectangles either so I changed the S.M.A.R.T. widget to bring back the disk temps. It's not hard to do.

@prtigger1 I discovered the dashboard widgets are easy to modify so I hacked the "smart_status.yaml" file to bring back the disk temps.

Just ssh to your omv and...
(Quelltext, 3 Zeilen)

then look for the line...
(Quelltext, 1 Zeile)

and change it to...
(Quelltext, 1 Zeile)

Then update using
(Quelltext, 2 Zeilen)

It should just come back with a command prompt when finished. If you mess up you will get a bunch of errors so you will need to fix the error in your file.

Then Ctl+Shift+R to refresh the…
