  • gderf It looks like you edited /etc/nfs.conf.d/99-openmediavault.conf a some point to increase the threads from 12 to 32. Is it possible that left your system in an inconsistent state?

A possible recovery procedure might be:

    1. At WebU, revert last change and then disable NFS server - save & apply.

    2. At CLI, mv /etc/nfs.conf.d/99-openmediavault.conf /etc/nfs.conf.d/99-openmediavault.conf.bak

    3. At CLI, edit OMV config.xml to remove all nfs versions

    4. At CLI, execute omv-salt deploy run nfs & check it succeeds.

Return to WebUI to setup NFS server as required.

The threads is set automatically based on the system's number of cpus x 4. https://github.com/openmediava…openmediavault.conf.j2#L4

Can not reproduce that on a AMD64 system with original Debian (no derivate).

    Code
    # ls -alh /etc/nfs.conf.d
    total 12K
    drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4.0K May 16 18:42 .
    drwxr-xr-x 93 root root 4.0K May 16 18:42 ..
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 237 May 16 18:42 99-openmediavault.conf

Are there any differences in /etc/nfs.conf and are there any other files in /etc/nfs.conf.d that might cause the problem.

Are there any differences in /etc/nfs.conf and are there any other files in /etc/nfs.conf.d that might cause the problem.

There was a local.conf file in /etc/nfs.conf.d. Deleting this file solved the problem with being unable to set NFS v3 only in OMV.

    Thanks for the help.
