Hi everyone,
I wanted to install bitwarden on my NAS.
I looked for the official guide: https://help.bitwarden.com/article/install-on-premise/
My question is: does it works with docker gui? I'll be able to use see the images and manage the container if I'll use the script?
Install bitwarden

That is not bitwarden, but a fork. They rewrote it in Rust:
https://github.com/dani-garcia/bitwarden_rs
Unofficial Bitwarden compatible server written in RustThis project is not associated with the Bitwarden project nor 8bit Solutions LLC.
I was looking to install the official server since I trust it more. -
Why don´t you use docker for that?
Bitwarden does support docker.

I will use docker.
But bitwarden is made by 5/6 containers, and I don't know how to set them up.
Can I use the official script? If yes, I'll be able to manage them from docker plugin?
If not: how should I set them so that they works? -
Hello,
I wish I could do the same to have my bitwarder locally. I tested the fork via tutorial TDL (thx :)) but it did not work as I wanted. (I may have missed something)
At the moment I'm using the official bitwarden server online and especially the plugin that will synchronize my new accounts / password from my browser, this is the feature I want to use with my local server.
I do not know if that will be possible. How do you know that it takes so many containers to run bitwarden?

Installation from here sounds quite straight forwared. I would just make a clone of my OS drive and try. If it does not work or you mess something up, just restore from your clone.

yes it seems not too complicated but it would not be possible to install it in a container instead of installing it on the local system? (It avoids to save the OS and test on a model)
What would be required is to launch a container from a debian image and start the installation in the container (like docker exec -it Bitwarden and after follow the installation procedure of the official website)
This is not possible ? -
Just installed it on a VM. Unfortunately it did not complete as the drive is too small. System requirements says 10GB of disk space.
It is installing in Docker. You end up with a number of container that are visible in docker-gui-plugin,
Before installation you must make sure to install the correct version of docker-compose. The one in the Debian repo seems too old. The installation of docker-compose is also linked on the bitwarden page.

for the docker version you could give a try to this docker-compose example
