Hello, for our school project, we make a NAS with Raspberry Pi 3 and two piDrive.
We want to make a RAID with the both piDrive. The two hard disk are detected and mounted but we don't see them when we want build the RAID.

You can only create a RAID with clean storage devices. If you are not sure why no devices are displayed, then it will help if you wipe them.

As I understand it is not recommended to use RAID with USB. Why not use rysnc to synchronisce the two drives. Adds another functionality to the school project.
Rsync has a lot of switches to be discoverd during such a project

RAID over USB on an RPI3 is going to be a painful experience. It is seriously not recommended (and there is probably no legitimate reason to do it anyway)
