No email notification after rsync job ended.
Setting has been enabled.

That's strange because i get rsync emails. You need to check the syslog if there is somthing special for this emails.

It's very interesting, but after night planed sync i have an email...... But if i push button "run" in rsync jobs - no email.
Also i noticed that omv3 rsync result email included "total size is", "speed up is", sent and recived bytes and building file list. In omv4 rsync mail i see also "Please wait, syncing <path> <path>..... ", but omv4 log tab shows these "total size is", "speed up is", sent and recived bytes and building file list. -
If you use the WebUI to run the rsync job then there is no need to email the result because you see can it in the WebUI.

This is also the behaviour of USBbackup. If the job is started by the WebUI - no Email. One must know this, it´s a feature not a bug, like @votdev wrote.

I didn´t agree. If I use the WebUI to test the functionality I would expect that all settings are respected, also email. Who shall know, which part of a functionality is not executed when the task is started by WebUi? Incomprehensible.

If the quiet option is enabled, then no email is send now.

If you run the job via UI you will not receive an email. For jobs that are triggered via Cron i can confirm that it works as expected.

Who can tell that already? At my first attempts with OMV it took my hours over hours to compehend this behavior. A small note at the appropriate place in the WebUI email setting option could possibly avoid a lot of confusion.

Used to be like this. But now (OMV4 on amd64 fully upgraded) there is only an additional window showing "please wait". Only when the job is finised it shows "done".

Cleared browser cache on client and web control panel cache on server. Now it is working.
