I use OMV 6 in DIY NAS wiht 16Gb Ram and 2 * 2 storage disks (Raid 1). I want increase SMB performances, is it possible to add 512 Gb SSD cache ?

I think you can but it is not OMV related. Just do some research on caching on Debian distro. But as far as I know, proper caching is not an easy thing.

To increase performance, usually move from 1GB LAN to 2.5GB or 10 GB LAN is the way, disk access is normally not the bottleneck.

Put LVM on top of your RAID.
i've found some solutions in forums (Debian 11) and the openmediavault-lvm2 plugin.
