Can you post the command line you are executing or post the cron job generated by omv.
Is this the exact message from rsync? Never seen it.

I believe that's it.

I am facing the same problem.
I have recently installed 2 OMV6 systems and was trying to setup some basic Rsync jobs for data replication. However, I keep getting the following error message when I try to run it manually -
REQUEST ACCESS TO MASTER CONTROL PROGRAM
USER CODE 00-ADMIN
PASSWORD:MASTER.
The setup is like this:
Remote Server: Rsync Server
Local Server: Rsync Task (Pull remote)
It will execute after I press the "Start" button. But if I schedule it to run at a specific time, it won't execute and nothing is shown in the Rsync-Jobs log.
I have tried to copy the command from cron.d and it works.
With OMV4, the same setup runs perfectly without any error.
Do you guys have any idea to fix this?

I have exactly the same problem.
I used cron from WebGUI in previous version for my backup (rsync plugin is too limited for me) but now it's not possible to use it
Running the job manually gives me this message

This is the default and intended behaviour. Maybe use Google to find more information about this little joke.
Hello, I would like to raise the issue again, since it still exists. All my jobs under scheduled tasks are no longer running automatically. I have to start them manually? Is there a serious solution to this?

What is the problem? Pressing the start button again? I think to remember that this behaviour has been implemented by intention.

I'm going to assume the problem is the same one I'm having, mainly that my scheduled tasks are not running at there designated time. When I run them manually by clicking the run button, I get the message that is a tribute to the movie TRON, then hit start and it runs. So I think people are wondering if the scheduled tasks are not running correctly because behind the scenes the task is waiting for the person to hit the start button so to speak. We all just want our scheduled tasks to run automatically.

Sorry for the confusion, somehow my email notification setting got jacked up so I though the schedule task wasn't running because I wasn't getting the emails, but it was. All good now.

Same here:
I run this command in the sheduled task:
sudo /bin/bash /home/myUser/DockerBackup.sh
When I start the task manually, I'l get:
Press the Start button in the bottom right corner.
Why do you have the /bin/bash? And sudo is not needed as commands are executed as root anyway.
