Bios bugs are common. Other than updating your bios or hoping for a kernel workaround, there isn't anything you can do most of the time. Is it causing a problem?

Hi ryecoaaron
Thanks for your reply.
No, no problem.
Everything works fine.
Just this annoying message on startup after changing hardware.

My servers at home just work. I don't remember the last time I looked at boot messages on them.

I have the same messages; all started after a CPU+MB change (from i5 3540 to i7 5930k); today i have a i7 8700 ant the errors are still here, but all works fine.

Same for me.
Notices start after hardware upgrade -
They are caused by the bios on the motherboard. Changing just the cpu won't help.

Hi ryecoaaron.
I have completely changed PC.
Only the HDs remained from the previous installation.

You changed your system because of an acpi error? And you say the error on both systems?

Hi Wolf2000 !
I also found this link, but I didn't trust to run the command.
I preferred to ask for help here

I added libata.noacpi=1 to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= in /etc/default/grub and ran update-grub. This prevented the appearance of those types of errors in the bootlog. If this broke anything I am not aware of it.
