Hallo zusammen,
Hello everyone,
I'm now on to set up my OMV-NAS. For this I'm considering the following two types of backup solutions for my two intern 8tb Ironwolf hard drives:
1: Use in RAID combination - How well does ist work?
2: Use one of them as main disk and sync it to the other one each day as "backup"
Of corse I will create a backup to an external hard drive additionally. Mainly I'm interested at the advantages of each opportunity. I personally prefer the second one because it seems a little bit easer and I would be ready to play back the backup in case of a damage of the main disk. What do you think?
