Migrate to bigger hard drive

Hi.

I've gotten a new harddrive, and want to migrate my OS from the existing SSD to the larger one. What's the best way to do this?

Poor choice of words on my side. I have my an SSD that has two partitions. One for OS and one for downloads.

I had intended to install proxmox and OMV within that, but when researching here saw that there is a plugin to allow me run VMs in OMV. So I'm going to be running a Windows VM from the larger SSD, and possibly some Linux distros like Qubes or TAILS.

Does that make sense, or am I talking rubbish 🙈

Just make sure to install the flashmemory plugin to significantly reduce the writes of log files to the thumb drive. I also use it for ssd.
