Hello! I'm new to this whole linux thing and new to building a nas, so please bear with me.
I'm connecting via a Windows 10 machine to a RockPro64 image of openmediavault. I have enabled smb and have followed all (and I mean all..holy jebus there are a lot) of the tutorials on getting this working.
My issue is this. I have a 5TB drive. I would love to use this 5TB drive. When I try to copy 189 gigs of data to a share I have configured on this NAS, I get an error saying "there is not enough space on [Share]. You need an additional 92.6 GB to copy these files.
This is an empty drive, minus the folders and whatever file system openmediavault dropped on it. I have checked quota, checked that the disk is setup correctly. I even nuke and paved the thing and rebuilt it from scratch, again following the directions given in all of the posts. I'm out of ideas here.
Is there anything someone who has little to zero experience in linux can do to get this working? I live and breathe a windows world. Something like this not working out of the box is...frustrating.
