Hi,
My data HDD is failing (bad blocks). Still on warranty and I'm dealing with a manufacturer to send it back.
Luckily I have another the same HDD which I rsync with the main data HDD every couple of weeks.
Both are LUKS encrypted.
I have only one share which is a full HDD.
What is the easiest / fastest way to restore the existing share point for SMB and NFS when a new drive is connected.
I'm happy to manually changed disk UUID in /etc/fstab if this is the fastest way. Or do I need to remove the old share via GUI and crate a new one on the 2nd HDD when connected?
Much appreciate your advise.
