This is not the look of the forum, maybe a browser issue on your side.

Hi, many thanks for this great software and this forum, which has been extremely helpfull!
I encountered the same issue on Fedora / Firefox and the problem seems indeed related to the montserrat font. Vivaldi on the same computer is not affected.
On the OMV forum,it seems that firefox uses the system (src local) font "Montserra Thin" (weight 100), witch displays as very light and barely readable. The weight css property doesn't have any effect on it :On the other hand at https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Montserrat/tester I can change the weight and "variant" (instance menu) and the regular variant (weight 400) displays correctly.
And there, the font displayed is not the local one, but the remote version "Montserrat variant0"

I'm unsure if it's an issue with fedora, firefox etc.. or if something can be done on the forum. However, as a quick (and dirty!) workaround, I added a rule in ublock to remove the problematic 'Montserrat' font family from the css, witch make the site readable :

Have you tried dark mode?

Have you tried dark mode?
The dark mode theme has the same behaviour (perhaps even less readable).
The only theme that works fine on firefox is the voltlab suite, but as uglyforum pointed out it requires to be logged in, as well as the dark theme.

I use Firefox and I have no problems, although it is true that my session starts automatically.

I confirm that with Firefox 120.0b6 (64 bit), on Linux, logged in or not, it is unreadable
With other browsers there is more contrast and the interface definitely works better.
May I suggest a simple edit?
On style-2.css, line 6735, it is possibile to change color with a darker one and remove Montserrat, ex.
Thank you,
Riccardo

I couldn't figure out how to use Vinceh's ublock rule so I made a custom style in Stylus to remove the problematic font. It looks like this so far:
CSS@-moz-document url-prefix("https://forum.openmediavault.org") { body,input,select,button,a.button { color: #2c3e50; font-family: "Segoe UI", "DejaVu Sans", "Lucida Grande", Helvetica, sans-serif !important; word-wrap: break-word; } }
It's a little annoying to have to redo this when I use a different computer or switch Linux distros but it's the only way I can read anything on the site without logging in and changing the theme.
Just sharing in case it can help anyone else.
