I can create shared folders in the OMV GUI but they are not visible on the command line.
I can also create CIFS drives using those sharedfolders so they do exist.
Can anyone tell me where I can see the shared folders on the command line?

/srv/dev-disk-by-label-xxxxxx/
where xxxxxx is the label of your data drive filesystem
It would be helpful to know where you have looked for them. Also, should either tag your post with your OMV version or provide it in a posting signature.
/srv/dev-disk-by-label-xxxxxx/ shows mounted file systems but not the shared folders
And if you change to one of the filesystems you will find your shared folders.
If you are searching for /sharedfolders/, it is depreciated. You can enable the feature if you like, but be aware of the limitations.
ok. got it thank you!
Strange, in OMV 4 I used to run, all shared folders were listed under a directory called sharedfolders.
Do you know why this has disappeared? It was quite handy.
It caused many issues. Especially when used in docker or with mergerfs (I think).
ok. understand.
But now I am using UnionFS and I cannot se my top level Union directory to share.
Have you got experience with that?
If you want sharedfolders have a look here: RE: Sharedfolder
but use YES instead of NO
thanks. Will do !
Hm. I did that but now OMV is not coming up anymore. I can ping it but SSH connection refused
Any ideas?

Enabling shared folders will cause problems, but never known it to cause that one. Is the webUI working?
Mhm- Maybe IP has changed?
IP seems to be same as I can ping it.
No GUI
No SSH
ok. I managed to boot with a screen attached to the server. CHanged the shared folder parameter back in OMV config file but OMV still not coming up.
Boot procedure keeps stopping at some point..saying "A start job is running ...", waits for 1:30 mins and then stops
Dependency failed for ...
I found the issue. Aparently in OMV5, UnionFS and LUKS encrypted drives dont work.
