Gmail works fine for me too. You may have a problem with that particular account. You could try using another one temporarily.
"network is unreachable" perhaps NO DNS server defined on webGUI? try 8.8.8.8
ok, should work, but please change it to 8.8.8.8 in webGUI to test it.
because is the common case for "network is unreachable" and perhaps your ISP do not support 1.1.1.1
