I just bought 16x 18TB EXOS drives and I cannot get them to be recognized on my new supemicro server. I was wondering if OMV supports HDDs that size? Or maybe I need to recheck all my connections?
Are 18TB HDD Supported?

You want to download the whole internet?
The last EXO I bought wasn't initiated.
See if Debian recognizes them all:
lsblk
blkid

Not enough information provided to offer an opinion.
Do the drives spin up? Are they reported in the BIOS?

Like buying a car that does 1000000 MPH!!! So excited to drive that highway.. But, wait, Highway is just 75MPH.

yes i can format the drives in windows and they work on a usb to sata connection on a different pc. I cant partition anything that big with ext4 on windows so I was just gonna do it in omv. They are currently ntfs formatted but not showing in omv.

I'm speechless...lolhaha, well go big or go home... idk....
I put 4 of them in my synology for the ultimate plex vault. the other 12 will be backups and in the supermicro, assuming I get it working. The HDDs are large like borderline on the form factor they wont fit in my lenovo 12 bay machines, the supermicro was a special buy just for them.

You are leaking info in a "uncle scrooge" way.
At least, the only info we got is that the drives are already in use and in NTFS.
So, please, do tell how are you connecting the drives on the OMV server?
Post the outputs of:
lsblk
blkid
ls -al /dev/sd*
This will show if Debian recognizes and see's them at boot.
-
A better starting place would be to verify that the drives are actually spinning up and that they are properly detected in the BIOS (either the system BIOS or the drive controller BIOS).

OMV doesn't determine support. The linux kernel does. But yes, it is supported.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but notice that ryecoaaron is running the 6.2 proxmox kernel. So if you are still facing issues, you might have to try a different kernel.
no issues with the 5.15 or 5.19 kernel either.
